About the American Legion
Casino Night tickets are $25 per person, which includes $2,500 in funny money to get you started. Tickets are on sale in the American Legion lounge and during weekdays in the front office, as well as at the door the night of the event. Post 347 is located at the intersection of Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466. The American Legion Post 29 in Zanesville will be hosting their 4th Casino Night allowing the public to do just that. Post Commander Larry Wheeler said the event will be this Saturday starting at 4. Dinner and live music rocking in to the night to benefit Sugar Grove's own American Legion, to benefit our Veterans$5.00 cover charge, Food will be available.Tickets available for a Hog Crazy Raffle! American Legion Casino Night
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest veterans service organization, committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.

In contrast to other veterans organizations, the Legion offers a number of local programs and activities to strengthen its commitment to our nation’s grass roots and the people we serve. American Legion Baseball is one of the nation’s most successful amateur athletic programs; it continues to educate youths on the importance of sportsmanship and develops the quality of our country’s citizenship. The Heroes to Hometowns program is the only nationwide reintegration assistance service for wounded veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. Additionally, millions of dollars in donations have been given to fellow veterans and their families in times of grief, and various scholarship opportunities ensure the future success of our youth.
