Part of the Genting network of London casinos, the Palm Beach is a plush casino located in the heart of upmarket Mayfair. The casino is situated in The May Fair Hotel’s former grand art deco ballroom. The lavish interior is impressive especially the palm tree shaped chandelier which hangs centrally from the ceiling.

For customers staying at the five star May Fair Hotel, there is a private entrance to the hotel lobby from the casino. There are of course many other hotels in the vicinity including the Mayfair Holiday Inn. London City Airport is 10 miles from Mayfair and Heathrow is 18 miles away. Valet parking is available at the casino for those driving, but the nearest tube stop is Green Park, a short walk away.

Gaming on offer includes all the usual table games, such as American Roulette, Blackjack, Electronic Roulette, Three Card Poker, Baccarat and Poker as well as a selection of slots. You can also reserve a table for a private game. Poker players can enjoy a dedicated card room with Texas Hold 'em and Omaha on offer throughout the week with no limit cash games. A con outfit run by thugs and thieves

Be careful of these guys as they are frauds and bullies with it. They have an oafish bully at the door called 'Greg' who acts as their hired thug who has no regard for human life- they have a management team who won't take you for long unless you REGULARLY have a lot of money to LOSE. And they will make sure you do or abuse you and throw you out! The management are thuggish and stupid. You are subject to aggressive discriminatory abuse here. An illegally run, big con with a fancy name and a front! Go there at your peril!

I've only been here once for a poker tournament, which is probably a good thing because the stakes make my eyes water. But what do you expect from a Mayfair casino?
I won an entry to the 'Big Game' on an online poker site - £1k buy in and I think it runs once a month. Didn't last too long before being donk'ed out so I stuck around to have a pricy drink at the bar. I also had a look at the other poker games they offer - the cheapest tournament was round £250 buy in and cash games were £5/£10 nl and up. :-o
Having said this it is a very nice casino - it felt a bit like the casinos you see James Bond going to in Monte Carlo and I would love to be a regular if I could afford it.
Plus the poker players just looked like a bunch of rich guys with money to burn, so the games could be easy pickings if you had a bankroll big enough.
